As a children's librarian, I've done my share of storytelling.  These are some of my favorites.  I'll list some by wonderful authors I admire, I'll through in the full text of some fun retellings of classical stories that I've embellished, tweeked, or otherwise redone my way over the years and finally I'll toss in a few wholly original stories that I like to surprise people with on occasion.
